Just signed my son up to this boxing gym and hell it seems like something Rocky’s movies.

So the coach from this gym was at an amateur boxing show today. His fighter lost and as soon as the coach of the winning fighter left, he tried to "poach" the winning fighter away to his own gym after just losing. Very very unprofessional and sneaky. Bad example for the kids.

Ummmm....nice guy cool people but damn the place could use a steam clean and a bottle of bleach. If you train barefoot go ahead and find a different gym. If the mma grunge vibe is your style party on.

Doug is a great guy and very accommodating of us fencers.

The people are correct. Stop by one afternoon and we can talk about things.
Brian is correct. We offer boxing to people 10 and older of any experience. If you are looking to just get in shape, looking to up your self defense ability or if you are looking to compete. Come see us. Thank you Brian !
Enoch, Yes. We have a few teens in our boxing group. Our boxing trains on Mon/Wed/Fri nights at 6pm and Sat mornings at 9:30am Come by and look around and we can talk about getting you signed up.
If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, then by all means, wear your mask. We are an "open air" gym. We have no a/c and have the doors open, which creates a draft thru the gym.
Really depends on what you're trying to do. Best thing is to visit the gym and talk to Doug.
Brian, We have different options for payment. The best way to get the pricing is to come by the gym some afternoon around 4:30pm. We have options for paying by the class, by the month or a "punch card". If you sign up with us and have your own gear. Then by all means, bring it. Bring your gloves, wraps, whatever you have. Stop by and we'll talk.
Brian, Inesa is correct. We have a some gloves you can use. But, they are old and stink. In time you will want to get your own equipment. If you have your own equipment, then by all mans bring your stuff.
Will, Stop by anytime we're open. Between 4-5:30pm Mon-Fri would be the best time frame but just stop by when you can. We are at the gym on Sat. from 9a-4p
Mark, Have you trained anywhere before ? Got any experience boxing ? At 11 you will need a parent to sign you up. Get a parent to bring you by the gym one afternoon and we can talk more. Mark, If you've trained yourself and watched you tube at age 11, then you really need a real coach. Get one or both of your parents to bring you to the gym and we can go from there. We have a group you would fit into that meets Tues and Thurs nights at 7pm.
Mark, Get a parent to bring you by on a Tues. or Thurs night around 7pm and we'll talk
Justice, We have several different plans for paying. It is easier if you come by the gym and we can discuss them with our price sheet. Competitions ? Let's see how good your skill is before we start planning a competition.
How prices do vary with what you want to do. The very best answer is to stop by and we can discuss the prices in detail. We have monthly rate, day passes and punch cards
Rudy, Yes, the use of the gym s included with the monthly fee. But....... classes have 1st rights to the ring and bags. You can't jump in the middle and start doing your thing. But, yes, you can come and lift eights and hit the bags (the ones the classes are not using.)
The also have personal training, tai chi, and a weight room to offer, as well
Israel, We are closed Sundays. Open Mon - Fri 4pm until 9pm, Sat. 9am - 4pm
100 dollars a month u can take other classes such as kick boxing ,Muay Thai , or chi and it's 150 a month if u do 2 martial arts amazing coaches that work hard to make shore your a step closer to achieve what u want and they can find any mistake some how great people hard work
Xanny, Brian is correct. The groups that compete, can do so against other gyms and in tournaments. It all depends on the persons skill level. Like Brian said, stop by sometime soon.
Bryan, We have different packages. Stop by the gym one afternoon and we can talk about the different options and cost. See you soon.
Ken, You can sign up for the "Basic Gym Membership". That gives you access to the bags and the weights. But no coaches/trainers/classes fro $30 a month. We have a 1 time registration fee of $50. So, your 1st month will cost you $80. Or, we have a special going that if you sign up and pay for 3 months ($90) we will waive the registration fee, When would you like to start ?
Brandon, Fighting and boxing are not the same. If you want to give it a go. Get one or both of your parents to come sign you up and we can get started (if you are under 18). Let's train and see how good you get before we start planning on tournaments, Like, Beth said, come by the gym and you, your parents and I can talk.
Great for beginners
Jonathan, Our classes run an hour to an hour and a 1/2 in length. If you need a flexible schedule I would suggest buying one of our "Punch Cards" You can either get a 6 punch or a 12 punch card. That gives you the freedom to (1) takes a class around your schedule and (2) try different classes. We offer Aikido, Boxing, Muay Thai, Practical Martial Arts, Sword Fighting and Tai Chi. Come by the gym and we can discuss the punch card prices and the option of paying per class.
Stop by and let's talk. Like Aiki Ichi said.
Yes, we do not charge to walk in the door. You will need to pay to work out.
Muay Thai cost $150 a month. 3 classes a week.
