Love this place, especially in Spring when everything is flowering. For the life of me, though, I can't figure out how to get to the canal toe path once over the suspension bridge.

While the thought of visiting here and seeing the wildlife from walking around the park would be great, the road leading to the parking lot is currently a disaster. We recommend driving you very slowly and carefully around the many many potholes here. Also upon her visit the area was too flooded to walk around, so we were limited to viewing the field in the middle from the only tower by the parking lot. My recommendation before coming here is to bring a real camera with a telephoto zoom, this would give you the best photos of wildlife. #Birds #wildlife

Walk in from the north side on the paved road for a few hundred yards - the blind is on your right, and a notice board is right on the road
