The food was delicious!!! My husband had the crusted red snapper over mash potatoes with some kind of shrimp sauce. I had chicken Alfredo. We had the spinach artichoke dip and mushroom stuffed with blue crab for appetizers. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the portions were a nice size. We will definitely go back and I highly recommend it. We also met chef Jason. He was a really cool guy who obviously knows his way around the kitchen.

Didn’t eat as the manager cannot open on time, door blocked by podium. I’m just a hungry tourist, so not likely to return. On a good note, the cotton exchange tavern opened on time !!

My wife and I travel a lot and I seek out seafood when we’re near the coast so we had to hit up the shrimp factory! We recently visited Orange beach Alabama for a week and I tried many seafood dishes during our stay and was very pleased with most of our dishes but none of them came close to the taste I experienced at the Shrimp factory!! Again, none of them came close!! I was fortunate enough to experience the chef’s special which was not on the menu and learned that he creates a new special every week that is not offered anywhere else on Riverstreet, so I tried the crusted red snapper with shrimp over mashed potatoes… This dish created instant memories!! The combination of flavors were remarkable and unimaginable!! As much as I love seafood I would have never thought that I could even eat seafood over mashed potatoes but this was the best combination I have ever tasted!!! The red snapper was lightly crusted and crispy on the outside but moist and flakey on the inside!!! Cooked to perfection!!!! The shrimp and the sauces that covered the meal was just amazing!!! I also ordered a side of red rice and I devoured it!!! Yummy!! I recommend that they put this on the menu and have a big picture of it outside the door advertising this meal!! It taste too good for people for people not to know about it!! And the presentation of the food was definitely on a level not expected by such a modest looking establishment!! Thanks for the memories you created for me Chef Jason!!!!! I would travel to Savannah just to eat here!! Check out the pics of my meal😁
