Usually you need some professional agency i.e. your pediatrician, someone else who evaluated your child or you, something like that to refer you to Alta. Although you can call and ask about applying and getting an assessment scheduled I believe.
It would depend on the individuals needs. Autism manifests very differently in different people. A person would be assessed and a plan on in place bars in their needs
Are there any recommended classes referencing the particular services needed for the intellectually delayed such as educational, social ans other services.

They do approve some, but it's a case by case basis. You would present all Medical Records, come in for an Intake Interview & the their own sweet of Doctor's will decide if they provide extra service or not. It's best for you to call in & start the process. It doesn't hurt to at least try.
