Closed at 11:30 pm make sure u call before going

I arrived to the store at 11:30 PM, and I was refused to be let in. Keep in mind the store closes at midnight. When I got there at 11:30, the doors were locked and the gate was drawn. I called the store multiple times with no response, even though I saw employees inside walking around. At one point an employee walked past and looked at me outside the doors and kept walking. I feel like this is completely unprofessional especially since the store was still 30 minutes from closing.
