I came to this location on Saturday 08/06/22 and was very disappointed with the service provided. The services they said they provided was an oil change and fluid top off (paid $10 for fluid top off). The biggest issue I had with this location is when I consulted a mechanic 2 days after my visit about something that came up which I’ll get to later, was that there was NO coolant in my car, the mechanic advised it was only water. My car was parked from Sat after my oil change until Monday when the mechanic looked at it, which means they didn’t fulfill the service they said they did. Another issue I noticed immediately at the location was the person directly assisting me with asking what services I wanted, etc. seemed like he was “over his job”. Why this matters is when there seemed to be an oil leak (I was unaware of such issue and why I sought help from a mechanic), instead of communicating that to me, he just wrote notes on the computer which I happened to see. He walked away and when he returned, I asked him indirectly about a weird way my car felt and he then said “oh yeah you have an oil leak”. When I proceeded to ask where the leak was or what they needed to look for, he said “you need to replace your seal”, with no additional information. Later after I left my step dad called the location to ask more information since there are multiple “seals” which I was unaware of, and he said the person on the phone wouldn’t give any information and was very rude. I understand that Valvoline does not offer mechanical services, but I felt this individual specifically, and potentially other staff here are not doing their job properly and do not care like other locations I’ve been to. This is potentially serious as things like the coolant and not advising customers of potential issues could really mess up someone’s car. I definitely will not be visiting this location again, and I’m even skeptical to continue going to Valvoline all together.
