It took approximately 17 minutes to get deodorant and check out. There was no one in this store no line about 8-10 customers shopping. The cashier was having a personal conversation with a stock person or a vendor. That convo was held away from the register. I asked the cashier where the deodorant was. Cashier told me aisle 8. I forget which neighborhood I am in the trenches unfortunately. I walk to aisle 8 the cashier who directed me to 8 knew the deodorant was locked up but never called for anyone to open it. I get to the aisle and press for assistance. The announcement comes on for assistance no help comes, I press once more. Now I come out of character and yell ayo across the floor because at this point the cashier is now completing a transaction with a customer. The female finally arrives after another customer press for assistance twice. At this point I’m irritated because the cashier whom was holding a personal conversation could have been had the assistance over there. The female who comes to assist was very nice but what irked me the most was when I voiced my opinion she attempted to cover for the cashier. Working in the retail industry I understand you want to cover and make sure a situation doesn’t escalate. Myself being in the retail industry that was not correct as long as it took for assistance. At this point I request the district manager information. The female who was assisting gave me the store manager information. I understand there is a chain of command but when I know for sure someone is lackadaisical and complacent blatantly it’s because it’s a lack of culture amongst upper management. I don’t mind following a chain of command but when I know things are not correct and someone attempts to cover it gets under my skin. With that being said it should not have taken 17 min for me to get deodorant when your store was empty. If your cashier had time to step away from the register to have a personal conversation then he could have made sure assistance came to get me deodorant better yet get me the deodorant himself. The female who assisted response to me was he has to basically man the register and can’t leave the register. When I walked in I never knew he was a cashier because no one was at the line nor was the cashier at the register he was having a personal conversation. In any retail that I have managed cashiers don’t hold personal conversations while at the register if there is nothing to do it’s more so re stocking the POS or doing returns or organizing the front and greeting guest. If cameras were rolled back at the time I came in you can see that what was performed from your employees was lackadaisical and complacent behavior.

the shelves were bare. it seems like only certain items in which women buy(perfume, beauty aids etc.) was almost sold out, or you'd have to settle for a lesser brand.

The worst service in the photography section, I asked for a magnetic service and they only gave me the photos, they did not give an explanation, and they simply canceled my order. The person with the worst customer service attitude I have ever met. I do not recommend this Walgreens location at all, my service was on June 18, 2022. It does not deserve even one star.
