Show them you won't stand for it by going to another company (Amazon or Newegg); vote with your dollars and maybe when their sales decline enough, they'll start treating us with respect.

Video editing is one of the most demanding tasks you can ask your pc to accomplish. You're going to need to invest in a good CPU, GPU, and enough RAM. Researching the best value is a bit of a rabbit hole, but I did it with little knowledge at the start and was able to get exactly what I needed at a fraction of the normal cost. If you want the right rig at a good price, do this research yourself. It's really not that hard and the knowledge you gain will come in handy later too. If you have money to burn and would rather pay someone else to to just tell you, then this is easy. Know that like anything else in this world, getting it right at the start saves countless headaches and lost time, later on. Get the wrong rig, and you'll waste hours tweeking your pc and/or waiting on your files to process. This WILL eat up your time, your choice how much and when, I recommend less & upfront. Good Luck!
