I called to have my oven and my washing machine repaired. They created 2 repair orders (which I thought strange at the time). The technician looked at the stove, identified the problem with the hinges, then told me Kenmore no longer sold the hinges. He then charged me a $109 service fee. Now I know why they generated 2 repair orders. He looked at the washer, told me what the problem was, ordered parts and established a date for when someone would be back to make the repair. Oh, he arrived 90 beyond the 4 hour window they give you for the appointment. My appointment to have the washer repaired was established with the window of 10am to 2pm. At 6:30 I received a message telling me the appointment was cancelled and moved to a week later. You can't talk to anyone, all I was able to do was communicate via chat. I have since written to Sears asking for my $109 returned for the oven non repair. I was able to receive an address from someone on 'chat' since you can't find anyone to talk to. Next time I'll just do a little research and hire a local repair company. This is what I get for going through the company that I purchased from.
