Escape Room RVA

My husband and I done our 5th room at this particular escape room and it was lots of fun! As an escape room owner, RVA is my favorite place to do an escape room out of all the escape rooms I've been to. I really like the layout of their location and the basement type feel. Our game master was extremely friendly and helped us out with hints whenever we asked. I don't remember his name unfortunately but he said he had family in New Bern, NC where we are from. Make sure to check out RVA rather than the franchise Breakout place if you can't check out both. RVA is a small business and we enjoy supporting small businesses over the franchises.

Will Power

It was pretty awesome. They are very customer service friendly. When a part of the room snagged, they came to fix it. The cool thing was that, because it wasn't our fault, they stopped the timer in our room. Only major downside was a very slow moving device, and a last minute call on the day before for making room changes. Other than that, it was awesome.

My first experience in an escape room, I have to say it will probably be my last. Not because the experience was bad but just because when I think of fun I don't think of challenging puzzles and tests of some sort. The people I went with, very good friends of mine, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I'm sure will visit another escape room in the near future. It really is an activity that not everyone is going to enjoy but because my friends enjoyed it and the people were very friendly it wasn't a bad experience at all.

The four of us had a fantastic experience with the Cthulhu room 🦑 I didn't think we were going to make it out! But with a few well-timed hints, we escaped by the skin of our teeth 😜 Immersive, well-executed. I look forward to returning and trying more rooms!
