Do not request work with this organization. Was excited to have been selected for a free days of work but after months and months of back and forth, a contractor who took time to understand our project scope, we learned the individual didn’t even take notes or pictures. So a second individual came out, who also clearly didn’t take thorough notes as we are going on weeks of back and forth going over questions and project details that were discussed during the second project review. Disappointed doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling after a failed attempt to do work with this organization. We have given up.

Colton and Cam hung a few things for me and did a great job. They were on time and very professional. Would definitely use them again.

I’m writing this review for the potential homeowners that are going to be overcharged! I work for handyman services of Matthews for a few weeks. So let me give everyone some inside information. This is how they work… you as a homeowner need a project done so you call handyman services. Handyman services then sends me the lead to go out and look at the job and put a bid on. So let’s say you were with a deck built. If I go in and look at your job and it will cost $3000 for me to build you a deck.. Handyman Upcharges it by 50% so your $3000 labor job just went up to $6000. And as if that isn’t a enough they mark up the materials by 40%! So the last deck job I was doing that was $5000 in the bid for materials. The homeowner Gordon meet me at Lowe’s and we order the materials. The total came up to $1600 for the materials and if that isn’t bad enough he looked at me and said that we were going to use the lower quality decking and to save money! So he’s going to make over $5000 on a project that he doesn’t even have to touch that really and truly should cost about that much to do the entire job! And if that isn’t bad enough I did a job for over three weeks ago and still hadn’t been paid! They informed me that the homeowner has not paid them yet so I wasn’t getting paid! That is just bad business!
