Existential Crisis Dog
The new building is clean and looks great, the staff is really nice and efficient, and everyone there seems to really love animals and treat them with the best of care. Please adopt instead of purchasing from a breeder! There are so many good boys and girls out there in need of a chance.

Simply the best. Everyone is super nice, facility very clean. Great place to adopt

Wonderful visit at this location! I came to just donate a few things, but decided to look at the cats and meet the most charming older cat named Mister Deeds! I ended up taking him home with me and he's such a delight! This SPCA had amazing staff who were able to answer all our questions were remarkably friendly. Many of these staff were volunteers, but still had all the answers. They also provided us with everything we needed to take Mister Deeds home that very day! They even will take care of medical issues with a newly adopted pet for the first 2 weeks that you have them! They also have a wellness clinic and a Vet on staff that helps take care of rescued animals! This location was very clean and the animals had areas where they could play and stretch their legs! Parking was plentiful so no worries their even when they are busy! Adopt a pet, especially an older pet who usually are liked over! I'm sure you'll love them so! I've had Mr. Deeds for 2 months now and he is such a delight, he even is playful at the age of 11!

These people should not be allowed to have animals. They are literally a hinderance to any animal being adopted, mainly talking about Lisa (unsure of her last name.) I called interested in a dog here as we seemed like a great fit. When I called and asked about him, they told me I could foster or adopt him today, to just come on down and meet him. So I drove the hour from my house. When I got there, not only did Lisa act extremely condescending about dog ownership (I have had dogs in the past) and not even look me in the eye, she badmouthed the dog consistently, almost as if trying to convince me not to adopt him. When she relented and let me meet the dog, he couldn’t have been sweeter. I told her I’d love to foster him, only for her to turn combative and start listing reasons why I couldn’t do so (including telling me “well he has good days and bad days”), telling me to come back a few days from now and then we’d see. Lisa also told me they’ve had this dog for a year; wonder why you can’t get him a home? Wonder if you even want him to have a home at all? Seems like she just wants the dog to suffer in his gross little kennel forever. Adoption agencies like this are disgusting and should not be allowed to exist.

I would call the Shelter first to make sure. Food that is open sometimes may not be accepted. So sorry about losing your Fur Buddy.
I’m so sorry about your dog-we all know how hard that is and send our best. We can definitely use all of those items and really appreciate you thinking of our animals! Donations can be dropped off any day and any time in the donation bin at our interim location in Cortlandt Manor. Thanks so much!
Yes to flat sheets, comforters, and blankets. No pillows and no pillowcases, no fitted sheets. Thanks for your donation inquiry.
I really do not know. I would think they might build it where they are.
It depends on the animal and your situation. I have adopted multiple times from the Spca, one time I had to wait (needed written approval from landlord) another time we left same day with our kitten.
I don't see why not I drive people with disabilities to there and there volunteer
Clean Sheets, Towels, Blankets, Leashes, Collars, Clean Crates, Unused Cat or Dog Toys, and of course Donations. More dogs are coming from High Kill Shelters within the next week so please do what you can. Thanks!
License and application and money
During business hours up to 4pm.
Give them a call. Give any facility a call for that matter. I'm sure they will help depending on circumstances.
Yes that will
Do you do community service for kids
Did you see him in the available Cats Section? Check. sq
Petco will take your goldfish. I had the same problem when I got my cat except she would jump in the fish tank. You can also get a glass top for your tank.
Clean, no smoke or pet stains. They would be glad too!
I would inquire with the spca if they know of any temporary foster homes until you get settled.
If you are looking for a low cost service. The Simpson Clinic right on the grounds of the SPCA is very helpful. Call them first. If the puppy is too young, you may have to wait no matter where you go.
Not sure. From my experience mostly cats and dogs.
Your vet, psychologist and town hall will help. Sorry for your loss.
No, they don't have ferrets. Goggle near you! They are so fun, good luck.
If you adopt from them, it is included in the Adoption fee. If you are just bringing your own dog to them, when you say ALL shots, you would have to call them to get the Vets charges.
It’s $150 for a kitten and includes the spay/neuter, microchip and Up to date vaccines!
Hi Mario! It’s $150. If you’d like to make an appointment please call our clinic as they book up months in advance! It’s (914) 941-2896 10. Thanks
Cant answer for any of the shelters other than they do their best to place an adopted pet in a safe and nurturing home so the animal can live a happy and healthy life for its own enjoyment and for its owner. The folks at the Westchester SPCA are great people who pour their heart and soul into caring for the animals in their care.
Yes
We adopted our pup for $350 but she qualified for critter points so we received a $250 gift card for petco
Call the clinic
Each run has heat, there is a Central burner for each facility
No, nothing is free in this World. Please....
I must say though I volunteer at the SPCA I have no experience with snakes at all. I know this wasn't helpful but didn't want to leave you hanging. 😊
You don't. You committed to this animal. Now own up.
