They tried to get me to spend $4700 and ultimately I end up spend around $800 for 8 spark plug wires and 8 spark plugs which fixed my problem. If I did not have some mechanical experience then I would of went for the $4700 for nothing! I wonder how many people fall for this? By the way, the GM dealer estimate was the same for wires and plugs. Next time I’m going to the dealer.

No u can go in any time. If you want to wait it will be faster service if u have an appointment time- usually less of a wait. If u are dropping of the car to leave it no. I usually drop my car off, they have a courtesy shuttle that can give u a lift to home and back as needed. 😊
