If you're dropping off electronics or recyclables you can get in and out fairly quick. But if you're there to dump items for the landfill, there's no signage and rarely anyone available to give instructions. Even when you can get someone to explain it to you, the layout and process is extremely confusing.

I'm a Franklin County resident and haven't needed a permit to dump anything. I've dumped furniture and appliances there before. Showing up in a uhaul truck, you may need to show proof of residency.

New Year's Eve 2018...the Franklin County Solid Waste Transfer Station 7 am to 3:30 pm. The County's 12 Convenience Centers 7 am to 6 pm.
