Drove all the way out here only to be greeted by a makeshift sign informing people they would be closed until 2pm. I arrived at noon, so no clue why they would close for 2 hours during a peak time. There were several other unhappy folks outside as well. Guess I'll have to send off my documents another day...

Tracking said the package left the Franklinton PO at 7:10 in the morning and would be delivered by 7:00pm. Received a notice that stated "we attempted to deliver your package on November 27 at 6:56pm but could not access the delivery location." The "delivery location" is a mailbox at the end of my driveway that was totally accessible. On the day the package was supposed to be delivered, none of my neighbors in my culdesac, including myself, received mail. Also, a package from Amazon was reported as being delivered by the USPS at 7:10 pm but it wasn't. This is not the first time that a package was supposed to be delivered by the USPS, but wasn't. I will file a complaint with the Postal Inspector General to see if the delivery issues can be resolved.
