5-star experience with Newsom Eye and Dr. Ochs! Dr. Ochs was so knowledgeable and informative through my whole eye exam process. He took the time to explain everything to me and make sure I was taken care of. Don't look any further for an eye doctor, I 100% would recommend him to everyone I know! Best doctor and eye clinic ever.

I had painful chemical burns in my eye that left me with exposed nerve endings over my cornea. Luckily, Dr. Ochs was available. He is very knowledgeable and was quick to diagnose and treat me. For anyone squeamish about having someone poke around your eyes, rest assured he is highly skilled and has a steady hand. This stem cell treatment he applied left me good as new, and if I ever have any issues again I'll know who to ask for. Thank you very much Dr. O :)

Routine eye exams are commonly performed annually to provide glasses and contact lenses. During a visit your doctor will also be ensuring proper eye health and may reveal damaging vision conditions of which you may not notice symptoms but are important to catch in early stages. Other types of exams are usually for the ongoing treatment and management of any ocular diseases that might be uncovered during a routine exam, highlighting the importance of having a routine exam each year.
