I was in the waiting room for more than 6 hours before seeing a doctor for the first time. I was not the only person who waited that long. Even after seeing the doctor he ordered blood work and after 35 minutes and no came to draw blood. I confront the doctor saying I am leaving. Seven hours was all I could take. Yes there were a lot of ambulances coming in (more than 9) but it is still very wrong for anyone who is sick and in need of care to be to put off that long. Waterbury hospital should have more staff to cover these less traumatized patients.

Thank you for excellent medical treatment. Doctor Jean Chrisnel was very thorough with testing me and diagnosing my pain. He took his time explaining my condition. He prescribed medications that are alleviating my Diverticulitis and I'm feeling better already within 48 hours! He also diagnosed me with other conditions going on in my body through the cat scan and explained everything so I could understand. He printed out all my medical conditions for my personal record and to submit to my Primary Care Physician. I want to thank all the staff too for being compassionate and helpful with assisting me with blood work, cat scan ect.

I entered the ER because I wasn't passing a kidney stone; *won* a trip to the OR and 3 day, 2 night stay. Every professional was friendly, listened, and showed concerned with my complaints. Physicians and nurses explained everything that was happening and made sure I understood. The PCAs did thier best to keep me as comfortable as possible and even shared a laugh or two. Discharge was quick when it was time.

After being in the hallway for 3 hours, after arriving by ambulance I asked how long the wait was for me to be seen and was told "ma'am, I don't know this woman has been here for 10 hours". I left.
