Beautiful park with gorgeous defined walking trails, the coastline is rocky but accessible (not where you'd go to swim). Interesting features like old bunkers make it historically intriguing too.

Our family loves this park we go several times a year, we went in mid-June and there was even a food truck. The playground has also been updated and the Science Center has several new exhibits as well

The most beautiful coastline I've ever seen, and it has such a rich history! Nice to see families and kiddos at camp here, but amazed no one else was checking out the 3,500 - 4,500 year old stumps at low tide. Amazingly brined by the salty sea and not fossilized, this place humbled me with its hidden beauty.

Really cool little slice of the seacoast. Saw a coyote out there during sunrise which was a really unique sighting. The regional park manager is really knowledgable about the parks history. If you run into her, definitely ask her about it.

I've seen deer there twice, other than birds, squirrels, chipmunks. UPDATE: This year we also saw a tom turkey, rabbits, and a mother groundhog with her two babies. You have to be looking for the wildlife usually to see it!
It is not a good place for swimming but a good place to relax and watch the ocean
Hotels are on the road to... I'm not sure about the lauch...
No. Just need to reserve a spot ahead of time. Only one of the odiorne spots has access to bathroom facilities, so keep that in mind.
Yup just set it up with the park staff. Caterers generally cook off site and truck it in.

The tide changes throughout the year so just google the tide chart for Rye NH on the day you want to go and plan to be there at low tide.

They are letting nature restock the areas that were once cleared for the original estate and then the military. Rugosa rose, goldenrod, aster, plants like that.
No grills, and alcohol is not allowed on the beach - state park
