Very small room for 4 adults. Clean room, comfortable beds. Only 2 restaurants; one casual (closed quite early) and one pricey choice across the road. No ice machine so if you plan an early departure stock up at the check in building the night before. Nice views in all directions.

Trash at our site on arrival. We booked 3 nights camping for our class C as the RV spots were all booked up. The lady said there was water to fill up and also a place to dump too. No mention of it being an additional fee at all. We figured we'd just dry camp and dump at the end. We didn't need water, of course never used the bathrooms or showers as we had it in our class C and we were away all day every day. When I asked to dump, she tells me it's $20 extra. So we don't use any water or their facilities but they now want that much after implying it was all included....no thanks, I'd rather give that money to another business. If you want to dry camp, it's less at the Lassen National Park visitor center parking lot...closer to the park and less $.

Very comfortable beds and clean rooms with all the amenities needed to stay close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Prices are reasonable and the host was friendly. I would stay here again next time I visit Lassen. There is a big fancy restaurant and bar right across the street.

Pretty good and clean accommodations. Close to Lassen national park southern entrance. Great views of Lassen peak and the meadow right across the street. Plenty of EV charging (paid, kinda steep). We were quite happy with the stay. The best part about the stay though is the restaurant right across the street. One of the best meals in a national park!

I visited for the first time in July so I do not know about the old lodge. Childs meadow is being updated and was the best part of our trip nice for our rv and our kids that tent camped as well. Very nice staff.
