We enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant. Not a complaint but only minor issue was a limited menu but to be expected with what is happening during these pandemic years. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Fair prices and the entertainment was nice too. It only took me just shy of 53 years to discover NE Ohio's hidden gem. Plan on visiting the rest of the park moving forward.

Hi! We loved our first stay at Punderson Manor in June 2022, and we would like to come back! The things we loved the most (besides the beautiful state park setting and Tudor style architecture) were the hand soap and lotion in the rooms (smelled so good!) We would love to buy some for home (gift shop idea!) Also, the coffee was amazing (liquid Folgers concentrate I am told). Loved the fire pits lakeside! Things that we would like to see improved on was the mattresses (they were pretty stiff and we woke up in room 105 with neck and back aches every day. I heard you are replacing them soon, so that is good!!) Also, there were no towel racks to hang your towels. A microwave would have been nice as well, for popcorn or snacks between meals. The restaurant food was ok. We had both continental and regular breakfast, as well as the Buffalo cauliflower, cheeseburger and house salad. I would not probably eat here again, except maybe breakfast (I understand you are between chefs). For the gift shop, I wished there was a women’s fitted T with Punderson Manor photo/artwork. The grounds were well kept, and the pool was very roomy. Affordability is important to my husband and I, especially with prices of everything getting so high these days, so we really appreciated being able to come here for a relaxing getaway, and hope to come back for many more years to come.

The lodge looks great. We used to pay a fee and use their pool for the day. We r senior citizens we paid 6$ for a day. Maybe went 2 times a month. Now it is 12$ and u are limited to 2 hours. So I guess it is a way to limit outsiders from swimming. Nice place but no thanks

Went for a late lunch, seemed like the waitress was the only one helping anyone on the first floor. She was bartending, serving, and attending to anyone who walked in. Because she was spread so thin she forgot numerous things for our table (drinks, appetizers) and seemed really inhospitable to our questions. Most of the menu items weren't available and she didn't really want to make cocktails. The dining service was lack luster overall. The burger was greasy and it looked like the bacon was remnant from the breakfast buffet. The fish and chips was just one sad piece of fish, not filling at all. The grounds were beautiful and lovely for a walk in the late afternoon but this place isn't really worth a day trip. Stay a few days, bring your own food, and enjoy the grounds.

Call the front desk?
Why not call 'em on the phone and ask the lodge personnel?
They are fairly busy during the summer as Punderson Manor also serves the campers breakfast and other commodities. They might not be answering as the attendant could be busy with the Manor or park. Leave a voice-mail if that is an option. If not, keep calling every hour.
