We loved our time at Autocamp Russian River. Zack booked our reservation and answered our questions and made some great suggestions for our family. We enjoyed the woodburning hottub. After a long day it was so nice to soak my bones. Todd made sure the temperature was right for us. All the staff was so helpful and happy. We were nestled in nature and the kids loved it!!

This is a great way to have a combination of nature and luxury. The airstream cabins are surprisingly spacious, offering a bedroom, small kitchen, couch, and full bathroom. There's even a tv and wifi to make you feel like you're actually in a hotel. Outside, you have access to a fire pit, picnic table, and several public areas. You can walk to the playground, basketball court, or tennis courts in a couple of minutes. The lobby has snacks, wine, beer, and many campfire necessities. Staff is really nice and accommodating.

Growing up we camped across the United States in Airstreams, it was an incredible way to see this beautiful country but it had been nearly 30 years since I was last in an Airstream. We decided last minute to give AutoCamp Russian Rive a try and experience the area, we were not disappointed. Our unit (24) was the best of any Airstream my parents and I camped in, it was comfortable, clean and isolated enough that it was reasonably quiet. It doesn’t get much better than starting our day with pastries from Costeaux, the inside lounge was spacious and allowed guest plenty of room. We enjoyed our pastries from Costeaux there every morning and brought dinner back on two of the nights during our stay. The staff could not have been more accommodating, we had a minor issue with our Airstream and Todd and his team took care of it very quickly. The front desk team are knowledgeable on the area and very friendly. While there are grocery stores in the area including Safeway, it is important to remember that for all the good reasons the area isn’t densely populated so shopping before you arrive is something I would suggest. It is camping sort of after all and not a hotel. Korbel & Bros. Champagne and Winemaker are a short drive from the AutoCamp and aside from the amazing tastings they have a great café. We had lunch there and it was quality food at a decent price. Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve is also a short drive and has some spectacular trails, one day in the park is likely adequate as some of the trails are closed. We spent another day along the Sonoma Coast State Park, the views from the vista points and beach are inspiring. If you enjoy the outdoors, excellent customer service and a bit of a secluded location, AutoCamp is the spot for you. We will return given we were only able to explore a fraction of what the area had to offer.
