This is my first, and probably my last, stay here. The good news, the staff is helpful and friendly. It was very quiet and seemingly sparsely populated. Water pressure is great! Many of the RVs seemed to be vacant and or permanent (worn out) and that gives the campground a depressing feel. The roads in, out, and around the campground are very rutted and in desperate need of grading. There is no clear, easy, place to hook or unhook a vehicle to a motorhome.

I used to come here a lot and a lot has changed. First night camping here and the town water was off. Bathrooms and showers were out of order. Even after the water came back the next day showers and bathrooms were dirty. I mean it’s hot out we went through some things before we can even get to set up, my husband and I sweating up a storm while setting up our tents and gazebo along with my child having an accident, ended up having to drive home with my family for showers since we were all so uncomfortable and the manager didn’t have any other solutions. They have “park guidelines" set that they don’t actually follow and should. Supposedly "Quiet time" is between 11pm-8am. Yet there was a group of 20+ campers next to us who played their music on huge speakers and shouting in a mic until 2-3am, with their stage lights onFriday night and Saturday night. "No set up passed 10pm." Like the 20+ that was already there wasn't enough to party. Mean-while my family of 5 were just trying sleep and rest before another day at this campsite that wont, I'm sorry "cant" reimburse our money. The children's pool is all dried up. Fishing pond is definitely not a catch. I wish I would have gotten more pictures and videos to back my story up. But past reviews definitely back up my story one way or another. It sucks that we paid and stood only because we couldn’t get our money back. I would have said something to the campers or called John to complain but other campers not following camp guidelines seems like a problem CC should be on top of not me or any of the other campers you would think his securities would actually be on top of that if anything. Anyway, what sucks the most is that I expected to really enjoy my time here and it was the complete opposite. I would like to add the, pool assistance can’t remember her name. She was super friendly and also took the time out to complement my spouse on how well he kept the kids in check while others allowed their kids to do whatever they wanted.
