There are no words to sufficiently express my gratitude to Chris and his staff at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans. From my first meeting with Chris, I knew I had come to the right place (I had toured a few other facilities). Chris was caring and sensitive in his approach while at the same time providing all the necessary information with an efficient attention to detail. The entire staff were approachable and helpful throughout the planning process. When I entered the building on the evening of my husbands service, I was amazed by the beautiful presentation of his personal affects; they created an atmosphere that felt as comfortable as my own living room. I am so grateful for all of their assistance, which made a very difficult time far more manageable. I would highly recommend them.

John Hinckley and everyone at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans were wonderful to my 98 year old mother and my sister when we lost my father in January 2022. John was gentle and kind and accommodated our every need including speaking to us in the middle of the night when my father passed.
