Could not renew because maintenance requests were continuously ignored

Management does not care about the establishment. The elevator near me is always down. From my understanding all the elevators shut down when the fire alarm goes off and must be manually turned back on. The problem is that nobody bothers to turn them back on, so the elevators will be down for several days after each fire alarm. This makes me have to use the stairs, which would not be so much of a problem if it weren't for the fact that people dump trash at the bottom of the stairwells, making it smell terrible. Management also does not do anything about this. The place is overall horribly dirty. Do not move here. All my friends describe my apartment building as scary and they feel like someone is gonna pop out of a corner and stab them.

The exterior looks nice, but the interior of the building looks like a prison. But, putting that aside, BE AWARE OF THEIR DIRTY LITTLE SECRET - they advertise that they will match students with students, but it is a lie. They will place non students of any age to live in the same apartment as students. They will cite fair housing laws, but I believe that applies to the complex as a whole, not an individuals unit. They clearly say on their website that non students must find other non students to fill an apartment. Please don’t tell me that my sons 30 year old roommate is the only non student in the complex. Management has an answer for everything-“he was grandfathered in”. Well, move him to an apartment with another non student. Then it’s “sorry, we have no spaces available to move your 19 year old son”. These people are deceptive and only care about milking people out of money. They already got you to sign a lease so they don’t have to do anything they say they will.

I have 2 freshmen here and they love it. Management is great and maintenance is very quick to resolve any issues.
