They were not very helpful to me on the phone. Their prices to do a simple tax return for a senior citizen are way too high. They need to understand that seniors cannot afford to pay high prices...we only get social security and this company wants to take too much money away from us. We can hardly afford to eat much less pay them an exorbitant price is do ten minutes worth of work.

Most audits are fairly normal and don't result in jail time (usually fines/penalties or even nothing). If you are that concerned you need to contact a tax lawyer.
no you should get a statement from SSI every year saying what's been into put into taxes and so on and you don't have to pay taxes
