If you ever have need for any mobility device, I strongly encourage you to check our Gator Custom Mobility in Gainesville, FL. They are consummate professionals. Jeremy Mason worked closed with my Physical Therapist to tailor make a wheel chair that fit my needs. Mitch Warren was splendid at explaining how to use my chair and adjusting it to fit me. These folks are first class. I recommend them without a single reservation.

Mitch came out and spent time explaining the features and benefits of the new chair. He is an excellent representative and answered all of our questions with kindness and expertise. I highly recommend Gator Custom Mobility.

Simply the best in wheelchair mobility, powered or not these folks have been my go to folks for many years and years to come. They're kindness, up front with you one on one, intelligent, honest, prompt, and their mechanics? SECOND TO NONE! They're the Only folk I allow to keep my chairs running and tuned up. What a team they are Mitch ( One of the Best wheelchair mechanics in the business, .. the motors, batteries, and the new rubber all the way around has made my Quickie S646SE powerchair back to life once again, Feels new, and it's performance has improved 100% Mr. Super Wrench Great Job!. Between my Quickie G7 manual chair run, as well as my Quickie S646SE powerchair. They both preform like new, or better than new. Your tops in your field of work I say. But this last time you came by, the work is fantablous! Can't say enough about y'all.

I recently purchased a wheelchair and lift here. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Steve educated me as to what type minivan I needed to purchase and did an awesome job installing the lift.

Hi Laura, We do have a couple of powered scooters (POV) and motorized wheelchairs available for rental (daily, weekly, monthly) however we do not stock manual wheelchairs for rental. They do require a small deposit and the fee varies by equipment and time frame. Feel free to call the office to get current pricing and availability. Thanks!

Do you also sell lifts

Do they have any used wheelchairs I need a regular manual wheelchair and possibly a electric wheelchair also I have insurance

Darrin Merkley | Sep 18, 2020
Gator Custom Mobility Inc | Sep 18, 2020

Hello Darrin, We have some standard manual wheelchairs we keep as loaners for people who are going through the process with us through insurance for other mobility equipment, of course this is subject to availability. Unfortunately we do not have any used manual wheelchairs that we would sell. North Florida Medical Sales & Rentals is the local provider for standard manual wheelchairs, while places like Walmart carry brand new manual wheelchairs for $250 or less. From time to time we do have used powered wheelchairs for sale, please call 352-373-9673 for more information.

I have been trying to get a powerchair from you to rent while Blue Cross pays for a new battery, and cushions on mine. I CAN'T WALK WITHOUT ONE. Can you please see what's going on with my request !

How much is a maxima scooter battery. VA paid for my scooter.

Google the type of battery and see how much they cost. I can tell you that Tricare paid for my replacement battery in my Pride Mobility Scooter, and, they delivered and installed such right in my home, and it did not cost me anything. The VA should also pay for your scooter replacement battery. If they refuse, go to your Senator, or Congressman's office, and file a complaint, and, the VA will have to respond. There is a special section for military members/dependents and their needs/medical or otherwise. Best wishes to you.
