Me and my friends did the "pandemic" escape room. Even though it got tricky at times, it was a really fun experience for all of us. Also, Cat was amazing! She was super nice and gave us good clues when we needed them 10/10 recommend.

8 might be a little young, but the easiest room accompanied by some adults could be possible. I would say 12+ is ideal though.

I have done Pandemic and Asylum. They were both very fun and challenging. Personally I think that I enjoyed Asylum more.
