Been coming to this park for years. Noticed lately it is attracting nomads; homeless people squatting there. They need to do a security sweep through there.

SKETCHY. The cats are adorable and the pier is beautiful! However, I don't feel comfortable taking the forest paths anymore like I used to... My friend and I were stalked by a middle-aged man through the park and had to ask an older gentleman to walk us to our car in broad daylight. The cats use the sand in the playground as a litter box. Absolutely disgusting.

I think you can, you'd have to call the Duval Co. Parks and Recreation dept. To reserve the facility for the day. The number is on signs there.

There are a couple of trails, I don't remember exactly how long,but I know there's one shorter one and one longer one.
No dedicated bike paths so not the best place to ride for little ones. The pavilions there can be rented for events and there are three available. Those are right between the boat dock and playgrounds.
