Take the right turn and walk to the tree line to get to the path. Once under the shade it's very nice.

The hike was nice. A little scary once in the woods. The trail was narrow, it didn’t seem like people had hiked it in awhile, lots of huge spiders and webs going across the path. We did pass a huge water moccasin on the path, then the trail ended up being closed and we had to turn back and pass it again. The trail signs were a little confusing. The one at the front said one trail name and the one in the path called it something else. No bathrooms. We probably won’t go back, but it was a nice trip.

It's a beautiful park after you walk 3/4 a mile to hit shade and the florida trail. I like the new pine field but it's pretty boring in full sun and 88 degrees. . I have trouble walking so I got to what I think should be a parking area at that point 3/4 mile back. I've done much nicer places. At least most places set you up at a trailhead, not close to a mile away. I can only walk 2 miles and don't have a horse. I was disappointed to say the least.

Ok, so the address when you plug this destination into your GPS takes you to a small grass parking lot and a chained gate. This is the entrance to the East branch of the trail. Nice, flat, open, hot. I wanted to find the west path. So. You take a left out of the drive on to 100 and turn into the tiny parking lot for the bike trail (it's the first thing on the right). You walk east on the bike path. At the end of the first guard rail there is a tiny stair step that leads to a tiny bridge that takes you back to 100. You run across 100. Dive into the woods of the other side and you are now on the west section of trail. I would recommend long pants tucked into boots, a hat, bug repellent and a walking stick to fend off the spiders and their webs. See pics, bike parking sign and where path starts.
