Worst phone system I have ever dealt with in my life. 7 months of faulty phones which leave families unable to reach their loved ones. The staff is wonderful and caring but these terrible phone connections ruin the entire experience for families trying to stay in touch. I don't blame the staff at all. I Blame the owners of this facility!

Transferring a call to a patient is horrible. Been trying to reach my mother for 3 days now. This is just not acceptable.

My mother has been a patient of Solaris Healthcare in Palatka since April 2020. She seems to be adjusting very well to her surroundings there in the nursing home facility. She enjoys doing craft projects and physical therapy the most. Her nurse she calls Miss Marie seems to love her too and goes the extra mile to let my mom know she cares about her as well. All in all she's had a pleasant experience while staying at Solaris Healthcare in Palatka. Your facility seems to be an answer to our prayers for my sweet mom. My experience is effected by the “Covid restrictions”, not being able to visit with our loved ones on a regular basis. My mother is the kind of patient who needs more encouragement daily to get better. I feel that the majority of the staff who I’ve interacted with have shown interest in my concerns and needs had compassion for me & my family. My complaints are centered around being “told things” from some of the staff that is not true, one is in reference to scheduling my families minimum visit and other things. I do believe that the majority of the staff working at Solaris are doing the best they can with the strict circumstances they are working under due to shortages & Covid. I’m so thankful to have staff members that I can contact if I have any issues or problems in reference to my mother. Jennifer, the Director of Nursing has been so awesome, helpful, understanding and compassionate in helping me with questions and concerns. I’m really hoping that Putnam Co. will lift the Covid restrictions as soon as it’s safe for the patients?! It’s really hard on the patients & family members, they don’t understand why we aren’t seeing them more often…😢 Thank you, Kathy (daughter)
