I need a 6th star to fairly review my recruiter. This is directed towards Petty Officer First Class Brandi Paquette, as she was the only person I was in contact with through out my 3 month process. Let me start by saying this. If you are even THINKING about getting into the USCG, I would highly recommend you getting into contact with SK1 Paquette. She will tell it to you straight, as she did with me immediately upon first contact. She has been the single most stable part of my long painful 3 months process. Her straight forward “tell you how it is” style was exactly what I needed. SK1 Paquette never once, in 3 whole month of contact gave me any false promises. At the same time she never ONCE told me that there wasn’t a way to get something done if we tried hard enough. I came to this office because, My experience at Orlando Recruiting was extremely sub par for what I would have hoped for. I would gladly drive the 2 hours a million times again if it meant I had SK1 Paquette on my team. She gets it done the RIGHT WAY, no shortcuts. Her knowledge of the Coast Guard’s hiring process is superior and I never felt once that I wasn’t given a knowledgeable answer to any questions I had throughout my 3 months. Plain and simple, if I had a question she couldn’t answer, she would always find out within days or even hours. If I was confused or unsure about something, SK1 Paquette informed/guided me. Morale of the story, if you’re within a 2 hour radius of this office, I cannot stress how important it is to choose this office and get the right people on your side.

Amazing place to go if you're even remotely thinking of joining the best branch in the military! I had SK1 Brandi Paquette, and she was amazing! Answered all my questions with great response time, and was always willing to take time out of her day to make sure I was always good to go. I just graduated on the 4th of February, and the first person I called was SK1. She played a huge part in this step of my life, and my wife and I will never forget that.
