I went for 3 broils which one had erupted which was the reason for my visit after waiting 3 hours in pain I just freakin left it’s now 1:15 am an I already have a 10am appointment at this same location. I was told yesterday by one of the nurses there If my pain gets worse or if the boil bust to come in on the emergency side right away so the could take cultures which I did an was about to be there all morning till my 10am

If I could give a zero for my experience I would. I will be fair and just in stating that this is the first time I have had such a negative experience in the ER. But the treatment I am currently receiving is beyond inadequate and inappropriate. I came to the ER yesterday because I was told two weeks ago to come back if the meds that were prescribed were not working or made me feel worse. Yesterday at about 4:45pm my husband and I came back b/c if felt like my depression had got worse and I had a massive migraine (Disabled b/c of migraine disorder). I was taken back to an observation room where I just cried on and off for about 2 hrs because of pain, sadness and lack of being heard. The ER doctor Jerome Vincent Bacasnot, MD came in the room and asked me did I feel suicidal. I to him I felt very stressed and like I didn't care. He asked if I had a plan to harm myself or others and I stated no. He asked why I came in I told him it feels like my mental health is off and that I had a massive migraine. So he stated he was not putting words in my mouth but it sounds like I was too overwhelmed and needed to get appropriate help. I volunteered to talk with some one in the hospital and change into their clothing. Then my husband and I waited in the observation room. Then a nurse comes in and stated the doctor put me under an involuntary hold based on the Baker act law. I was confused b/ c I was not a threat to my self. Which was proven by the lab work and urine test that showed I was not under the influence of anything. The nurses then invaded my privacy by going through all my belongings, including all my wallet and med bag before giving it to my husband to take home. I asked to speak with the Dr again b/c I thought it was a misunderstanding and if I was able to readjust my anti depression meds and get my migraine pain under control that I would feel better. Jerome Vincent Bacasnot, MD never came back to consult with me, I was not given the option to see a psychiatrist to better access my needs. Once they made my husband leave (against Baker act rights) I cried more and ask to speak with the Dr and to go home. The Baker act rights were not explained to me fully until 1:40am. I asked the nurse on duty about my meds especially to sleep again and she finally gave me my med at 2am. I rested the best I could and woke up this morning feeling better. My migraine symptoms and pain has decreased which helped my stress level. I explained what happen yesterday to the morning nurse and she explained my rights and put in a request to talk to psychiatrist who is the only person that can remove a Baker Act. She asked my why I was so stressed, I explained what transpired in my day that made me sad. At 11:30 am an EMS transport came to continue the Baker Act and send me to a psyc hospital near Sea World involuntary. I asked the charge nurse Eileen for help as well and instead they told security that I might be combative and not want to go which I explained that I am not violent have not been violent to my self or other. The nurse removed my IV too quickly and I bleed out over the bed and my leg. I had no choice and went with EMS. This is unjust and unfair. I believe my right have been disregard. Mental health is serious and you should be able to trust hospital staff to be trained to properly help. I now will not trust this hospital and something needs to be done. Please help me!

Nope, it's just like in the Exorcist, when doctors are just wandering down the halls of the hospital smoking cigarettes. Are you serious??
