For several years as a member of the Eastern Star, our group visited Oxford. It’s an amazing place for children to grow when they can’t be at home, especially at Christmas. The kids are so appreciative of everything! It makes me happy and sad at the same time but I wouldn’t take anything for the opportunity to visit.

Nice kids that just needed some help.

Many reasons. Parents can't afford to raise them; neglect, abuse, loss of parents, etc. Yes, this is an orphanage, but it is also a home. In fact, the alumni - those who lived there and graduated and went on with their lives, refer to it as the Home. I attended school there for 13 years. It is indeed a special place.
What happened?
Yes...we always try to accommodate the need of the family . Give a quick call to find out.

From what I understand, they do accept donations but with covid it has to be new items only. They have wish lists posted on their website for the items that are most needed.
Most live in a dorm setting, but the older children, I believe after college, have their own apartment. They even help with a car!
I believe to get the correct answer to that is call the administrators at the home
None of the residents here are available for adoption at this time.
Generally, the kids are safer there than they were at home.
