I have yet to have a good experience with the exception of my last appointment with the doctor I switched to - Dr. Dickey. I have asked 3 times to get an 'invitation' to the patient portal to no avail. The person on my last call said she would send it 'in a few minutes' and to call again if she failed to send it. She failed to send it. You can't get the slightest thing done with these people. They set up this patient portal so they won't be bothered by their patients but then you can't even get help to sign up!!!!!! I had to switch doctors because it took too long to get an appointment with my last primary Dr and I had to see the very incompetent nurse practitioner. I needed two authorizations for ongoing heath problems because they would not give me one that lasted long enough. It took a month to get the authorizations despite my making it crystal clear I was very worried since it was regarding a retinal tear follow up which should NOT have been disregarded. The other was for a check up with a dermatologist after I found a suspicious area on my face and had just undergone a month of daily radiation treatments instead of a very disfiguring surgery. I told the nurse practitioner I was having panic attacks and anxiety in general and especially over these two health issues. She told me to meditate - like that would solve my problem and mitigate legitimately scary health issues. As if meditating will make losing your vision or getting your face disfigured will solve the problem. I absolutely can't stand this medical group. The staff is rude and I can't stand dealing with any of them. I tell myself it is the nature of HMO's and to some extent it is. But there is NO EXCUSE for not listening to the patient, not following through with authorizations, not being able to get an appointment with a doctor in a reasonable time and having to see the horrible nurse practitioner I saw, having to ask 3 times to get their approval to sign onto the patient portal and still not be given a simple email to do so, not being listened to and instead having colonoscopies and mammograms pushed while disregarding the reason you are there, and having to tolerate the rude office staff. This is terrible medical care. Awful experience every single time. I don't trust them to do their job and they sure as hell don't care at all about their patients. I will NEVER go to this office unless I absolutely have no choice - which is what they want - I think they get paid either way.

Called this office to simply coordinate an appointment and they were just not friendly from the start. Not very helpful. Just got a “ we’ll see what we can do”. Their office protocal to schedule an appointment isnt lenient, just a “ well this is how we do it”. Highly avoiding having to coordinate any future appointments with their office on Ventura rd.

Long waiting times for phone calls, rude staff on phone calls, and billed insurance for a service I did not get.
