Dry Creeek is a unique trailhead with the Stanislaus River running through it. There is plenty of gorgeous grassland that is open to the public and a scattering of trees. Trails zig zag across the landscape with lots of bike and walking paths. There is also a park near the entrance to the trail (East La Loma Park) that is great for the kiddos. The problem I have is the trash. The space, while expansive, is heavy on litter. This is especially bad at the river itself. If it was cleaner it would be an absolutely wonderful place.

I've never seen any. If there were any, the bums would have cleaned them out.
