This place saved me from the streets! It's a shame the county has pulled the plug on this place and Turning Point is closing in a month! Completely sad and tragic.

Hi Nancy, my name is Christina. I am really sorry to hear your struggles. We have a 24/7 peer support line that you can call anytime, day or night @ 558-4600. These folks also have clinicians available if you do feel in danger of what you may do to yourself. When it seems really hopeless, it's hard to see things better; but I have learned it does get better. It's just hard to get there and having some support make sit a bit easier. You can visit us at our location too (I'm so sorry, tomorrow is our 1 day a month we close for training), but there is also another office we work closely with to help the homeless. It's called the outreach & engagement center, they will be open tomorrow and you can visit them at 825 12th st Modesto. I hope I can meet you one of these days, I really would like to help out if I can. Please stay safe...

The woman who would be my landlord is requiring that I go to school, or get a job to stay there. I have suffered so many blows to the head, that I can't remember the exact times that I have worked at each place. With my record as it is...
