Went down to donate some children’s toys and clothes. A lady had informed me about this location and let me know they took donations for women that have had children. I was thrilled and very happy that there is a location that does this type of work for a woman in the situation. I drove up to drop off the donations and when I got off the car to ask the lady if this was the correct location I felt she gave me attitude. Now in her defense it was a little after the closing time so I do understand she wants to go home or whatever. But I believe it could’ve been said with less attitude. I had someone there assisting me and they. Had asked if they gave receipts to people donated the same lady with attitude said oh my God and walked away. Another lady after walked up and very nicely said that they could do it tomorrow if you wouldn’t mind coming back. Just that experience wasn’t the best for me I don’t think I will be donating again there. But I would definitely support the cause and if someone asked me of a place that was taking donations I would still recommend.

You can also get a scholarship and have to have children and be the age of 18
Everyone that comes in to Redwoods is on what we call admit blackout. She's not in trouble or anything its just part of the process of coming into sober living facility.
