How is a warrant executed?

Rose Ramirez | Sep 18, 2019

When cops go before a judge and ask for a warrant they must have a: probable cause, b: valid suspition..."that is probably spelled wrong", and/or c: the warrant must be in accordance with an existing case or have witten testimony of someone who has been in the house/car/property that there is something suspitious in the house/car/property. As such most warrants also have a specified thing that they are looking for and if they find anything that is not specified in said warrant it is unapplicable in court. A warrant also means that the cops may enter your property without your consent and there will be no legal repercusion whatsoever

The only way in Oregon to check for warrants is to go in to their office.
