The U Apartments

This property is way different than what it used to be. I took a tour and they have great amenities and they are always doing some type of deal. Their new staff seemed friendly and was helpful, which is why I wanted to live here. All and all this is a great place to live.

I have lived at the U previously and now again in the 2022 school year. I want t say that despite all the other things that TheU has the best maintenance in Davis and actually out of any place I have lived in. The past few years I have lived in my own apartment in student and shared housing and seen all kinds of crazy maintenance issues. out of all the apartment communities especially during Covid, I want to mention Steve Shaw especially who has provided extremely prompt responsive and efficient maintenance. TheU is so fortunate to have him work here. He is extremely skilled and knows how to fix just about anything and everything, quickly efficiently and very respectful and excellent in knowing exactly what the issue is and how to fix it quickly. I see him working on holidays weekends making sure things are addressed promptly and just provides an overall sanity for example the garbage typically which gets to be a terrible problem very quickly. He goes out of his way to assess the urgency of a request and tends to it right away before it becomes a problem. I hope Greystar is aware of what a gem they have and how much they are benefiting from having him on staff. Thank you for all your help Steve!!
