Seeing all the different shell creatures was pretty awesome. Mud. was. Everywhere! Not a great place for fishing. when the tide goes out, the water completely disappears.

I really enjoyed this place. As with many parks along these peninsulas you will have a vastly different experience depending on the tide. When we stopped the tide was super low so that you could walk way out into some of the jettys. Others were digging for clams or oysters, I'm not sure which. What I most enjoyed was the easy, simple loop trail that takes you through the marshy preserve with views of the water along the way. We entered at a small area that said public fishing which was less crowded than the main entrance to the south.

Id love to have a part in this park! I always think about adding to it with edibles or bee and butterfly loving plants. There arent too many restrictions and I love to let the kids look at all there is to see on the beach areas. Thanks for a bit of beauty.
