Finally my name is on the list to actually move in. After visiting the Center 2 1/2 yrs ago I knew this is where i want to live. I never put in another application anywhere else. I feel in love w how well it's taken care of. I met really nice people who lived there, they love it to.

The rent amount is based on your income, so the rent varies to your specific situation. Currently we are not taking applications as the waiting list is closed. We do not have a lot of move outs, so it hard to tell how long the wait will be. However, we will be opening the wait list for 2 weeks in the near future. We will be taking applications from July 11-22 from 10a-4p Monday thru Friday during that time frame. Regards DHI Broadway Sr Associates, LP

Hello Jah - Broadway Sr Center is a project based Section 8 apartment complex designed for the elderly. Elderly is defined by HUD as 62 years of age and older. For those who qualify, rent is based on 30% of your income. Our waiting list is currently closed. We do not anticipate taking applications until perhaps 2024. When we re-open our waiting list, it will be posted in advance on google, and published in multiple newspapers. Until then, we wish you luck in your search.
I care for one client their and she said that the wait list can last for years. I am not sure when it opens but it wouldn't hurt to try.
Yes, there is a waitlist, but it is currently closed. We do not anticipate taking applications until perhaps 2024. Good luck in your search!!!
Currently our waiting list is closed. We do not anticipate re-opening it until perhaps 2024 due to the number of applicants currently on the list and the infrequency of people moving out. In the case of Broadway Sr, no one may live at the property who is not elderly. Elderly is defined by HUD as those individuals who are 62 years of age or older. Good luck in your search.
The property is subject to certain restrictions based on the programs in which the property participates. There are income restrictions that will apply. There are also occupancy restrictions, and there would need to be a background check done on the family member wishing to move in in regards to their criminal and rental history. Additionally, depending on the age of the family member moving in, there may be occupancy survivorship issues that may need to be addressed. So the answer to your question, is "That depends." The best way for you to find out about your specific situation is to have the leaseholder and the family member schedule an appointment with Diana in the office to go over the specifics of your situation.
