Chef's food is hot and delicious. Made to order. They serve breakfast 🍳 all day and 🥪 sandwiches. I got a BLT with mustard and crispy bacon 🥓. My sister got a 🍔 which she said was very good. My brother in law got a bologna and ham sandwich and my mom had fries 🍟 smothered in cheese. The server was very polite. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the cafe has been there sixty years and could use a makeover. It's small but they have bar stools. The seats at the tables were ripped. I would definitely go back when I get back to Altavista.

Food was good for most. Ordered 2 burger combos and a chicken filet combo with milkshakes ran us $30.00. Made to order, took about 20 minutes after decided what wanted. If in a hurry this not the stop for you. Burgers were big and looked good. I had a chicken sandwich that i did not enjoy at all, so trashed it after 1 bite. It tasted more like a chuckwagon. Wendy's spicy chicken better and less costs. Milkshakes were good. No online menu. Here is pic of menu.

Very uncomfortable setting if you're a person of color. The chef's looked at us as soon as we walked in rolled their eyes and started whispering. We waited 20 minutes before they came to take our order. I ordered 1 hot dog and an order of fries. The fries came to me with MULTIPLE pieces of hair on it. Don't bother going. You can get a better hot dog at a gas station. WITHOUT hair.

Great little mom and pop place. Very large menu for such a alittle place. Prices are very fair for the most part. Friendly staff.
