This motel is in a poor state and in disrepair. It needs a total overall. It's obvious walking down the hallway. Carpets are old and nasty, baseboards in rooms are damaged, shower shutoffs don't work, toilets are so low to the floor it's hard to get up. The couches off the elevator look like they came from a brothel, old, discolored, and ugly. Front desk people are unprofessional as all get out.

The staff was almost never present. I had to leave my room keys at the front desk to "check out." Most importantly - the room was FILTHY. We found a stale donut hole at the foot of the bed, a cockroach crawling on our nightstand, the shower was leaking, and the lamps look like someone peed on them. There was a pair of reading glasses and a used tissue that had been swept under the bed. This is, quite literally, a roach motel.

Great stay! Thank you Kelsey, Arron, and Nicole (breakfast). Really good job. Breakfast here is better then most middle Choice Hotels. Room was very comfortable. Good beds, good food, good employees, good location, good price.

If I could give -5 stars I would. I came into town to visit my parents for the weekend and decided to get a room (203 to be exact) and from the moment I walked into the hotel lobby I regretted my choice. The lobby was absolutely filthy and had trash everywhere and didn’t look like it had been cleaned in months with out dated furniture. The room was so much worse holes in the wall different color paint from patch jobs, mold in the mini fridge, the hairdryer practically electrocuted me, blood on the sheets and lamp shade and no hot water for two days ever after bringing it to the front desks attention after the first morning of not being able to shower ( and might I add the girl at the front desk looked high out of her mind and her I assume boyfriend was behind the counter hat pulled down looking down and looking high also) and they said they would fix it. Returning to the room at 10:30pm that evening the bed had been stripped of all the linens and not remade towels taken but no new towels and still no hot water. The next morning upon checking out and not having showered at the hotel for two days but at my moms house. I went to the desk and requested a refund because I myself work in the industry and would give anyone that experienced this a complete refund, but they said they would only refund one night and not both. Not wanting to argue I said sure and knew I’d be calling corporate. I called corporate and because it’s a privately owned hotel with their name they can’t or won’t do anything I should say and the hotel is refusing to give anything more. I have called the Virginia department of health because this place was disgusting from top to bottom.
