Looks to be a family run outfit. Mom and daughters cooking over the grill and fryer I'd guess. Got a hamburger and homemade potato bite things and both were great. Took out since dining is only outside and it was somewhat hot. But they do have an eat in space. Not a whole lot of places here to eat lunch and dinner other than taco hell and Mickey D so give these local people your money instead...I always try to find local eats where I can.

This was our first trip to City Drive-In. The atmosphere in the sit down portion of the restaurant is really cool. The staff was great and was very efficient and eager to assist us. Our food was served piping hot and fresh. We will be going back for sure.

Went today ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, tater tots, a ice tea, Philly cheesesteak, fries and a caned mt dew. Bill was $32. Sorry I know food cost have went up but at those prices I would have expected a big burger, more than a 12oz tea and cheese on the Philly cheesesteak. First and last time for me

Has been the best burger in the Spruce Pine area for many years now, it would get a 5 star if it were a bit more affordable
