The campground itself is nice with well kept campsites and amenities. There are different beautiful trails located on the campground. The staff have all been really friendly as well. Great place for older adults and older kids. Not sure I'd recommend certain sites for those with little ones(such as ourselves) due to the limited space and steep drops down the mountainside. The roads to get in and out are pretty steep and narrow as well, especially when pulling a camper.

Cute little campground. Not much privacy between sites. Game area for kids, multiple playgrounds, and small pond to fish (catch & release). Plenty to do in the local area. Sites book quick so plan ahead

We recently stayed a 2nd time at Bear Den. We loved every minute. The bathhouses are clean, easy to get to, and frequently empty. Everyone camping was so friendly. This trip we hiked 2 of the trails on the property and they were awesome! Cascade trail takes you to a beautiful waterfall. The white trail gave a good workout and takes you to fantastic views of Table Rock and surrounding areas. It was so nice to not have to drive to the trailhead. There is more than one Ingles market close by to stock up and the campground store has most anything you would have forgotten. Staying right off of the parkway is also such a treat! Wish we were still there!

We loved our first stay at Bear Den! However we missed the turn off the parkway into the campground. Be on the lookout for the road because if you pass it there is really nowhere for 3-4miles to turn around. Private sites with plenty of …

Their camping season starts again March 15
I believe they have deluxe cabins that have bathrooms and jetted tubs , they are a little pricey though .
We have 2 dogs cost us extra need to have them on a leash although some campers let their's run loose. Not campground protocol.
They have a pond there you can swim in but there is a lot of attraction such as sliding rock and other places too
check out 11 am and they mean it
They have golf carts for rent.
Campground dont actually have bears for viewing pleasure.
Mid to low 70s high, 40s at night
I am not the owner, I am sorry I do not know.
No grills at the campsites, but they do have fire pits and a picnic table at each site.
YES, THEY HAVE A POND.
Sorry but we stayed in a cabin and priced fairly reasonable. It is beautiful just tucked in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Largest group is 6, but they do have some close enough you could double cabin it.
There is WiFi near the office and near the bath-house on the D loop.
Ask on there page
It varies depending on size and day of week. Their website has the prices on it. Just click on cabin your interested in put in the days and it will give you pricing and availability

Open year round
Sites in C loop
From what I have seen it is open year round, I would call & check 1st
Youd have to call for that question but if i can save you the time we fished for 2 days straight and all we ever seen come out was one large carp you can see kio fish on top of water tho...
Not too sure about the overall length but they have some pretty big RV spots. Last cabin we rented had a travel trailer about the size of a descent single wide sitting there. Assuming it was for rent since no one was in it the whole week.
Yes. I saw lots of people on golf carts private and rented.
Campground is closed in December. Fully furnished cabins are open year round.
