Beautiful

So peaceful over there. My favorite trail is the deep woods trail. Lake loop needs some repairs. Some of the boards are loose and dangerous. One of the boards has an alpine feel to it and only rugs are put over the board which makes it slippery when walking over. It needs repairing asap and anybody can get hurt from it

The one you want is the bog trail
I have pushed a baby stroller all the way around the lake and had a wonderful time. You just have to be more careful and go a little slower to traverse some of the areas along the trail.
There are no fires or barbecues allowed at the Nature Center.
The canoe dock is closed for the season (Until the second weekend in May) due to the return of the migratory waterfowl. Dogs are not permitted at the Nature Center.
The Lakeview Trail is a perfect trail for shorter jaunts, especially with strollers! It’s 0.3 miles long and is the first trail to the left of the visitor center.
The canoe dock is closed for the season. It will open for weekends only from the second weekend in May until the third weekend in June - for rentals only. Beginning the last week in June through Labor Day, the canoe dock is open from 9 am - 3:30, seven days a week (weather permitting). Weekends are rentals only. Weekdays are private and rentals. Everyone must register before before paddling.
Due to COVID-19 the Nature Center is not renting snowshoes.
There is a pavilion area, nothing with BBQ stands or anything if that's what you were looking for. There are also many benches on the trails where my boy and I usually stop and eat.
Trail lengths vary depending on the trail, some are as short as .5 miles, while the longest trail goes around the entire lake and takes around an hour, not exactly sure on the length of that one. There are many shorter trails available.
I have never went inside but I see people go inside all the time
No I can't bring your own canoe . I still love to go to this place

The office usually closes around dusk whenever we go, but it changes with daylight savings time.
Bikes are not permitted on the trails, though they may be used as transportation to get to and from the Nature Center. Bike racks are provided in spring, summer, and fall.
Try calling them
They do offer golf cart type tours for free for people who want to explore the trails but cannot walk them. Call for info.
ONE thing to note that wasn't mentioned previously, it is a county park so, veterans and active duty don't have to pay the $4 fee at exit.
