The staff here is great and they provide free/FUN events for teens and younger children, Mine especially love going these events! We also love the atmosphere!

If the library board actually READ books they would know that banning books never lands a person on the right side of history. But apparently political agenda is more important than freedom of information or the first amendment. I was already incredibly disappointed in this library’s programs and book selection and now that they’re censoring what is available, I’ll be going elsewhere. If you like fascism and censorship this library might be a good fit for you. For anyone wondering, other nearby libraries will provide us Cass County residents free library cards without the books bans.

Staff is good. Books are present. WiFi, however, is NOT reliable. It's fine for casual surfing, but this is not the place to go if you have anything important to work on - don't risk it. Giving 3 stars because these days, strong and reliable WiFi at a library should be a given. For reliable WiFi, go to the Harrisonville branch. You'll have to take 10 seconds each hour to re-agree to the terms/conditions, but at least it's reliable.

If you're on mobile, download the Libby or Overdrive app, then select Cass County Public Library and log in.
Bring in a photo ID and proof of address, light a utility bill, and we can get you signed up!
Hi, Wayne! Send us an inquiry through our website. Our Genealogy staff field questions like yours often. We can hopefully find the information you need, if you don't find it by contacting the school directly. https://www.casscolibrary.org/genealogy/inquiries/
We do not have microfilm at this location.
Yes it is.
I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN AND I DON'T THINK I EVEN MAKE ENOUGH TO HAVE TO FILE TAXES BUT NEED TO MAKE SURE.
Use your library card number for the user name. The password is the last 4 digits of your phone number (with the new system).
Your pin number is your two digit birthday month and two digit day. For example August 2 would be 0802.
I believe they do. If the books are not something they can use in their inventory, they will sell them and use the money to support their programs.
They do hire parttimers and they do have volunteers. Contact the library for more information. Or check out the website. There is a volunteer application online. And, right now, there is an opening for a parttimer - I hope just read it online.
