Great hike though parking can be tricky.

A little small, but it's also a beautiful place. IDK if it's worth the $20. I will have to go a couple more times to figure that out.

This small park right off the 95 is a VERY tight park for anything larger than a van, be forewarned. Also, there ARE snakes, (poisonous), being in the woods. Didn't have warm water for either of my showers. All this said, staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Amtrak runs to Quantico, then you might be able to take an Uber or a cab.
I think the weekends leading up to holloween are all taken but the weekend of holloween last checked was still wide open. And yes, there is I believe 3 different cabins. One that sleeps 5, for $50, one that sleeps 6, for $60, and one that sleeps 10 for $70.
Main entrance off of the triangle exit. That's where the bulk of the trail heads are. Yes the park is a hard close at that time
All of the trails are away from any major roads, some go near a couple of small streets within the park (at least on the map) but since people drive slowly if at all i doubt you would be able to hear anything. Ive been on most of the trails and havent heard anything.
I would try the visitor center which is straight in from the main park entrance.
Trees pretty much keep the rain on the trails at a minimum. No trails get closed that I know of. Most shoes r ok !!
Well.....there is no one at the front booth so u r supposed to go to visitor center and pay ten dollars but hypothetically if i forgot they didnt come hunt me down
I believe is 4 miles, give or take, but you can continue riding throughout the park
The only real dam in the park is at Carter's pond. It is only about 6 feet high (earthen dam). There is a bigger dam farther upstream but that is on Quantico military reservation (Quantico Marine base)
There's an RV park outside the park off of 234. I'm not sure about on the actual park land
Yes. They offer both tent and cabin camping with single family and group areas. Visit the Prince William Forest Park website for details and pricing information.
They are more scared of you than you are of them... I've never seen one... Coyote's however I have seen and you just slowly walk away... And if you have food in your hand Toss it to them... And continue to slowly walk away.
Was at the RV side just hours ago and it was staffed.
Yes, and it is run by 3rd party in a separate area from the tent sites/non hookup sites.
Yes, there is a small fishing pond and you can also access the Quantico lake.
The one at Leesylvania park is one mile and is easy! Not far from there! Cost $7 to park very pretty on the Potomac
The visitor guide I received said hunting is not allowed in the park.
Yes. Look for them on the stream valley trails. The local critters usually beat you to them though.
Yes
Yes. Park staff are available for any course assistance or inquiries
Not really. There are parking lots and paved roads, but it's not a place I would go just to skateboard.
When we went it had just rained. The park we saw was very well maintained.
You should contact PWC Dogs, a non-profit organization that maintains the Minnieville Road dog park. Your question is posted on the page for a park in Triangle that is maintained by the National Park Service.
Daniella, There are power outlets at the bathrooms, as well as outlets by the classroom building. Trails are reasonably accessable, but they are subject to seasonal changes. I would suggest contacting the Rangers to see what the trail conditions are before you go.
There are grills and tables, not sure about bringing your own grill. we saw several kids in the creak.
Manassas bus pickup in the commuter lot on Cushing Rd. by the Omniride-PRTC stop. There is a public parking by the stop. 30 min from PW forest park.
Definitely... Just make sure to call ahead so they can direct you to the best location in the park for both you and for everyone else to get around you!
