I’ve been going to the Cdga VA hospital for about a decade now! Everything went extremely well until I was assigned Dr Potts as my Primary care Dr! I was treated as a second class citizen when I inquired as to the appointment process! Dr Potts yelled very loudly into the hallway so the secretaries could hear that she had no control over the appt process and that she couldn’t fire anyone. Very loudly! I never once asked if she could fire anyone. I was simply voicing my concern. I requested and was assigned a different Dr because I didn’t feel safe working with her! Her replacement is what I have come to expect from the Cdga Va hospital! Very accommodating and very concerned! No Veteran should feel uncomfortable with their Dr the way I felt seeing Dr Potts!

They do provide quality care the the Federal mandates are horrendous and harming our loved ones locked inside not being able to have any in person visits. This is February 2022 now! How abhorrent this is to veterans.

Everyone we (father and myself) have come in contact with are very nice and helpful. You do need to ask questions though. They do not always elaborate with that "extra info" you may not have thought of. The phone system is a bit of a pain, but workable. Guess I'm just used to calling one number and talking to someone in the office. Everything is leave a message and we'll get back to you. It is nice having all my dad's doctors in one place!!

Took my dad here because he is a VA vet. Wonderful place. Excellent care.

Yes you can. It’s a dual diagnosis program.
Yes
I'm not sure of my answer. But I would call your nearest VA. They should be able to point you in the right direction.
When you come in fr fort hill ave. Go around to the right. It is on the back side of the hospital
Yes with appt.
Don't know for sure.
Vets that are more than 50 miles from a VA hospital can be authorized to use local care. online you can find participating urgent care centers too
To my knowledge TV's are not, radio's CD players are but must be cleared by engineering before use... TV's are avcdailable on the units. Good luck!!!
Only inpatient units at canandaigua are nursing home care units
No. This is NOT a hospital, it is medical clinics
