To my knowledge TV's are not, radio's CD players are but must be cleared by engineering before use... TV's are avcdailable on the units. Good luck!!!
Anything you bring gets held until he goes through inspection by an electrician. Their is the TV in the common room. They should just bring clothes and maybe some personal care items no razors. Everything you bring will be checked so don't bring anything that will be embarrassing.
